Volunteer at Harvest Moon!

Are you passionate about supporting the community here in Ogden? Volunteering at Harvest Moon offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with local businesses, meet new people, and contribute to a meaningful community event. It’s also a great way to gain experience, build relationships, and have some fun while doing it! If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering, please sign up through our volunteer registration link.

As summer fades to into fall, Historic 25th Street sets the stage for Ogden’s biggest end-of-season bash–the beloved Harvest Moon Celebration held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. This community tradition is free to attend and brings a full day of fall harvest themed family-friendly activities, live performances, and local vendors to the heart of downtown Ogden.

New this year, the celebration has extended hours and layout, and will feature a fall harvest produce market until 2 p.m., kicking off the fall season of Farmers Market Ogden. Attendees can expect live local music and dance performances throughout the day, a community-hosted kids zone with free pumpkin crafts and activities in the park until 6 p.m., art displays with photo opportunities, and nearly 100 vendors lined along Historic 25th Street, offering everything from local flavors to handcrafted artisan goods, giving attendees plenty to explore. Additionally, adults can enjoy craft beers from Utah’s top breweries as Historic 25th Street transforms into a lively beer garden.

Now in its 22nd year, the Harvest Moon Celebration draws thousands of residents and visitors to downtown Ogden each fall, cementing its place as one of the community’s most anticipated events. By featuring local businesses, artists, and community organizations, the celebration continues to strengthen ties within the community and bolsters the local economy. As Ogden transitions from summer to fall, the celebration showcases the city’s cultural heritage and artistic identity.

Harvest Moon is FREE and open to the public! Parking is available in Electric Alley (behind the north side of Historic 25th Street) and in The Junction parking garages. With an increase of traffic to the downtown area for Harvest Moon and overlapping events, Ogden Downtown Alliance encourages event attendees to explore alternate transportation if possible.

The Harvest Moon Celebration is held following the 17th Annual NUHOPE Suicide Awareness Walk that takes place at 10 a.m. at the Ogden Amphitheater in Downtown Ogden. See below for a schedule of events and the main stage lineup.
