Boards and Committees

The Ogden Downtown Alliance board is made up of

  • three at-large positions,
  • an appointed position from Visit Ogden,
  • four officers: a Chair, Vice-Chair and a Secretary and Past Chair (4) for a collective eight-member Executive Board (8)

New members are nominated and elected by the existing Board. Members serve three year terms.

Additional ex-officio positions are held for:

  • the Ogden Weber Chamber of Commerce (by appointment),
  • each of the three downtown “Districts” Historic 25th Street, The Vard and The Junction (appointed by separate elections)
  • and an additional four ex-officio from Ogden City including the City Manager, Director of Economic Development, Marketing and Communications Director, and Director of Arts and Community Events (3).

Additionally the Ogden Downtown Alliance manages four business and neighborhood groups called District Associations. These districts meet bi-monthly with the exception of the Nine Rails Creative District which meets monthly. These meetings are attended by business owners and/or their representatives the purpose being to share and receive updates on downtown events, issues and business needs.
